Performed by a certified groomer, cleaning the sensitive areas of the dog ensures ultimate cleanliness in these areas. This service is designed to eliminate any odors and matting that can occur in these gentle areas.
Oral Care

A certified groomer with brush and clean all your pet’s teeth. Gums, tongue and mouth will be cleaned and freshly rinsed. This service is designed to keep your dog’s teeth and gums healthy which significantly increases a dog’s overall health.
Basic Brush Out/De-Shed

A certified groomer will meticulously brush and comb out your dog’s coat. This service removes any minimal matting, increases blood flow to the skin making the dog much more comfortable and healthier.
Pawdicure
$35 ($25 for nail trim/file alone)
A certified groomer will pamper your pooch’s feet by removing excess paw hair, moisturizing the paw pads, trimming and filing their nails and tidying up the hair around the feet (if required). This service makes walking increasingly more comfortable for the dog as well as minimizes the amount of dirt accumulated on the pads and what they bring inside the home.
Ear Care

A certified groomer will examine your pet’s ears, clean out the area and remove any excess hair if required and agreed upon with the pet parent. This service reduces odors and reduces the risk of ear infections as it increases air circulation to the inner ear.
Vision Board

A certified groomer will clear out your pup’s eye area by hand scissoring the corner of the eyes and trimming eyelashes, eyebrows, stop and vision board as required. This service tidies up the eye and makes your pup’s vision board clearer and cleaner.

Our customized Old Mill Signature bath will cleanse and purify your dog’s coat and skin, leaving it clean, healthy and shiny. Our signature bath is perfect for weekly, in-between full-grooming visits!
The OId Mill Signature Bath

The Old Mill Signature Bath includes a professional, massaged bubble bath using customized products specific to the requirements of your dog’s coat and overall health. Our signature bath includes a nail trim and file (upgrade to a pawdicure for just $10 and get paws shaved, moisturized and hair around feet rounded).
Our signature bath also includes a relaxing blueberry or hypo-allergenic tear-free facial your fur baby will love. After this wonderful bubble bath, your dog’s coat will be professionally blow dried in accordance with their coat texture and requirements. Their coat will then be thoroughly brushed and combed out to remove any matting and be lightly de-shed if required. This service will make your dog feel invigorated in their squeaky-clean mat-free, shiny coat!

The Teddy Cut

The Teddy Cut also known as 'The Puppy Cut' will make any dog look young and as cute as a button! This low maintenance haircut will be sure to make your dog feel fantastic with minimal at home maintenance. The Doodle
From $115
'The Doodle' service is available to any cross breed of a Poodle. This service includes an Old Mill Dog Spa Signature bath with cleansing/de-shedding (doodles have guard coats that don't shed but require removal for skin circulation and healthy hair re-growth) shampoo & conditioner. Post bath, a hand fluff blow dry and rake de-shed. We will then clean sanitary, perform full pawdicure, clean ears and teeth and complete the haircut as per pet parent preference.

The Buzz

The Buzz is a shave down groom whereby the coat is shaven down to a very short length head to tail. There is minimal scissor work to be done with this groom and usually selected for pets going into surgery or by pet parents that want their dog to have very minimal hair or fur. This service is accompanied by our Old Mill Signature Customized Bath, Blow Dry, Pawdicure, Sanitary, Oral and Ear Care.

The Show Dog

The Show Dog is a breed specific haircut for the most discerning pet parents who want their dog to have their dog groomed according to their breed specifications. Certain breeds have features exclusive to only them and if you prefer your dog to look exactly the way it was intended to, this is the haircut for your pooch. We can apply any breed specific hair type to any dog, coat permitting. This service includes all necessary hand-scissoring, hand-stripping, sculpting and de-shedding techniques required to achieve the breed specific groom of your choice. This service comes inclusive of our Old Mill Signature Customized Bath, Fluff Dry, Pawdicure, Sanitary, Oral and Ear Care and customized haircut as per breed standard.

SHORT & SMOOTH COAT
A short or smooth coated dog has a coat that does not grow in length. It has more than one coat and requires undercoat removal by carding for more skin circulation, increased comfort and shine and less shedding but does not require a haircut. This coat is close to the body and does not grow in length. The skin of a dog with a short or smooth coat is generally soft and sensitive and caution must be used with use of product, tools and equipment. This coat generally sheds a fine undercoat that spears into materials. Regular grooming every 4-6 weeks and regular frequent bathing in between grooming is essential to this coat.
The Short & Smoothie

This service is perfect for those pet parents who can’t figure out why their short or smooth coated dog sheds so much, yet their dog has such short hair! Pet parents with a short or smooth coated dog will see a significant decrease in shedding and skin issues if they keep their dog on a regular grooming schedule. This service includes our Old Mill Signature Bath as well as a Pawdicure, Oral & Ear Care. In addition, after carding, your dog's coat is further moisturized to enhance its shiny luster.

DOUBLE COATED
A double coat is a combination of lengths of hair. These coats have a harsh outer coat and very soft, abundant undercoat which is dense and quite thick. Shedding is profuse and can be quite difficult to remove as it sticks to most materials. Grooming this coat on a rotating 4–6-week schedule significantly reduces shedding, improves skin circulation and keeps the dog feeling lighter and cooler without all that undercoat to carry around. Regular bathing, drying and de-shedding with tools will significantly decrease shedding and improve the dog’s overall health.
The Double

Pet parents of a double coated dog will see a significant decrease in shedding if they keep their dog on a regular de-shedding grooming schedule. This service includes our Old Mill Signature Bath as well as a Pawdicure, Oral & Ear Care. Some may also require some sanitation, feet and furnishings tidying. The de-shedding process of this coat starts in the bath, followed by high velocity drying and de-shedding with double coat specific tools & products. A tidy up of furnishings is also included in this groom.

Old Mill Dog Spa wants to give your puppy the very best first grooming experience! Our trained professionals will ensure your puppy’s first groom is a positive and pleasurable one. Our goal is for your puppy to love the grooming experience from the very first visit and every visit thereafter.
The coat of a puppy this age is still coming through and not yet quite ready for a haircut. Puppies this age have not yet acquired the patience and stability to sit around for long periods of time.

DOG GROOMING REHABILITATION PROGRAM
At Old Mill Dog Spa, we want your dog to love coming to our spa to get pampered. We created this program for your dog to enjoy coming to visit us and look forward each time!
If your dog is unfamiliar with a space, people, scent or perhaps has had a previously bad grooming experience, they can grow to dislike grooming and their behaviour will reflect that. This program is designed to allow your dog to get to know our space, groomers, equipment, scents and basically feel more comfortable each time they come.
If your dog is not a big fan of grooming, we recommend your dog coming to our salon a minimum of 3 times prior to their 1 st grooming appointment. These visits will consist of 15-minute visits whereby your dog simply meets with us, we take them into the grooming area and allow them to sniff around the tub, put them on our table and let get familiar with the sounds and scents of the space. We ask that the pet parent stay at the salon during each session. We conclude each session with a treat and a happy goodbye. The idea behind this is for your pooch to build trust with us and vice versa. Once that is established, we can slowly move forward to a grooming session.

Cancellation Policy and Credit Card Processing Fees:
Please keep in mind that “No-shows” or last-minute cancellations leave our groomers with empty appointment times, as well, we may have had to turn away other clients that could have enjoyed that appointment. Clients that do not honour their appointments will be charged the following cancellation fees:
All Appointments: We require 24 hours’ notice of altering, cancellations or rescheduling. Full payment of the appointment will be applied to credit card on file within 24 hours of cancellation. Should the client not have a credit card on file, the client will be charged for the groom upon the next visit.
